Currently, adults with congenital heart disease account for 3% of heart and nearly 40% of heart_lung transplant recipients worldwide. Ten years of patient outcomes were reviewed between 2001 and 2011. This single center, high volume center demonstrated comparable early and mid-term outcomes in adult congenital heart patients to general outcomes when careful recipient selection was utilized.
