Delayed graft function (DGF) after transplant is related to donor, perioperative and recipient factors. This registry study is a paired kidney analysis, where one kidney from a deceased donor experienced DGF and the other did not. This analysis identifies several recipient and perioperative risk factors for DGF, some of which are modifiable, such as obesity, cold ischemia time and waiting time on dialysis.
