Acinetobacter is an important nosocomial pathogen. Extensively drug resistant Acinetobacter is generally only sensitive to colistin and tigecycline. The authors performed a retrospective study of SOT recipients over a 5 year period, that were colonized or infected with extensively drug resistant Acinetobacter to determine outcomes. 69 patients were included, most of whom had ventilator-associated pneumonia.
