Characterization of 25+ year survivors of cardiac transplantation

This single center study reviews the echocardiographic, hemodynamic and clinical characteristics of long-term survivors post heart transplant. The investigators demonstrated a significant burden of cardiac allograft vasculopathy in the setting of preserved graft function. Diastolic parameters were significantly altered.
